Your curry plant is also referred to as helichrysum. I use this to make an infused oil which I use for skin products and also for nerve and tissue damage. It's great for wrinkles and age spots. Something to look into!

Thank you!! Simple and quick application of pleat hooks. I used IKEA curtains and it took me ten minutes per panel to apply 10 hooks each to the built in drapery tape. I had no idea how to do this until I watched this video. So happy!

Your garden beds look beautiful! Just thought I would let you know that lemon balm and mint are invasive. They will take over your entire garden unless they are planted in their own pots to contain them. I wish someone would have told me this years ago! Just a friendly garden tip!

Pot the citronella by your door or patio it wards off mosquitos. love planting it every year.

Thanks so much! I’ve been looking for split bathroom ideas for the new home my husband and I are getting ready to have built. We have 8 kids (5 girls & 3 boys). We don’t want too many bathrooms, but enough that we they have their own families and come home to visit it’s sufficient. Split bathrooms are SO functional and make great use of space. There’s not much on the internet available on them, so thank you, thank you!!! ! Excellent idea of buying two smaller vanities and putting them together. I’m a big fan of having one sink with lots of counter space on the other side as well. They are hard to find, so thank you for the great idea. It’s fantastic you found the marble slab and honed it yourselves! Way to be resourceful! Love the colors and even mixtures of different metals. Great idea for the deep and wide tub! Love the extra sink for washing hands in the tub toilet area, so clever and the design with bars and no cabinet underneath is perfect to give it a more open/less cramped feel. You’ve got me curious about linens now. They are beautiful too. I love the idea of hanging the baby pics above towel spots. Also, the picture and history is a great touch. It ties in with the rug well too. I look forward to seeing more of your designs/work.

Hi cami, i wish i wasnt so hard onmyself, but i cant stand anything dirty in sink, i want my beds made as soon as i get up, start a load of wash every morn cause when u put it off it can become overwhelming , my husband when our kids were young made kids put there toys up at bedtime , if u do little things az u go thru every day then they dont becomes a big job, i love a clean home and just appreciate my home more, u r so smart on every subject make alot of sense thank u for sharing blessings to u and ur family

We use ALEKS for math. It is a little pricey, but it has worked so well to integrate the spiral and mastery approach as well as allow kids to work at their own pace. The explanations are great to help the kids be self taught, or allow me to help when needed. We used Saxon for awhile and have found ALEKS to be an even better, more simple approach for us for kids that are good at learning independently. Hope this helps!

Stay away from large supermarkets as you tend to buy anything you buy I prefer to buy my groceries from my local grocer less items less spending

I remember those seasons of life with my children! There were times I sent my husband and kids on a weekend camping trip without me because I needed alone time, it upset my husband and kids, but my head was ready to explode if I didn’t. We still did a lot of camping in the summer and a lot of backyard bbq’s with friends, heck we mom’s would send the husbands and kids away for the weekend to have a ladies only weekend where, don’t laugh, but we would gather for an entire Saturday to help clean each others homes (think 4 ladies on purpose cleaning when the men and children were away) and then have a sleep over that night and watch movies and indulge in treats we rarely kept in our own homes! 🤪 Now, my babies have babies and I watch them going through the summer season and I will step in and kick them out of their house for the day and do a Mimi take over and the grandkids and I will get the house and laundry cleaned and a nice dinner on the table and my husband and I get the grandkids (those that are 15 and under; we have 13 grandchildren and only 4 are under 15 now) and go exploring in our state and see historical sites and camping; the older grandchildren are either married or have summer jobs and they all sigh and will say how they miss the week with Mimi and Grampa. All that to say, you can still create summer routines and be “spontaneous” about it!

Hi, i just found ur Place on utube, the rest i do not know how to do, i dont even know how to do links etc, but ur so down to earth, ive really enjoyed u this week, since we have 5 grandchildren plus 9 great grandchildren so being old on social security not as easy to buy but love to me first is jesus birthday to help all to realize he gave his life which is our. Gift from jesus we started yrs ago to draw names tell 3 things we might like to help who drew our name which gift to buy, set gifts at 50 dollars so one gift will be nice, but last yr was even harder for some so we did stocking gifts only was so much fun, praise the lord we can be able to do that and enjoy blessings to u❣️

I don't think that black couch at all fits into your house. Very disappointed in that look. I would slipcover the couch if I had to keep it. I do love youe new home. I would be using some lovely floral wallpapers in the dining and bedrooms but that is just me. I feel like your house just screams cottage.

Today you made me cry, I was reminded of our family vacation time every summer we stayed at the same cabin with our kids and we did the same things every year. So many precious memories came back to me and all negative stressful ones disappeared. Thank you Cami❤

Hahahaha I’m just like that too. Really enjoy being with people and have a hard time stopping and smell the flowers. I live in a country where we enjoy just the dry seasons and rainy season, so no “summer” all stopping for us here, however really enjoy the idea of Re- Creation for a while during the year. Definitely will try it out. Thank you for those beautiful words.

Talking about (1)your family/children not seeing the 'fun' side of you very often, (2)changing from an extravert to introvert, and (3)taking time away from your kids/house and thinking 'there I am!' ...all seem to me like signs of overwhelm and burnout. I feel like it's very common and normalized, but not healthy. How can we, as primary caregivers in the US, design our lives so that overwhelm and burnout aren't the default... in evrery season?

When my kids were little, I had a love/hate relationship with summer! It was nice to not be so scheduled , but also draining as now I was home with them all, for 2 months, and had to keep them occupied! I did a mix of "go outside and play", swimming lessons, VBS at church, soccer camps, camping/holidays,...and playdates...visits to the library, or to the creek to much about...sometimes I wondered if it would have been easier to have a career and go to work every day and leave the kids in daycare... both have their ups and downs I am sure...

Is it a problem if the wood is so close to the opening? I thought there needed to be a 6 inch space between opening and the wood mantel.

I’m with YOU, Cami……I have always been one to enjoy FUN, when all chores are completed and everything that needs attention is handled. Luckily, I am a very high energy level gal, so I have lots of time for fun after the work is done 👍🏻

I hope it is a good spring and summer for growth/my mom just died 2days ago/so very sad/CANCER/so very SAD///////
